Step 1 – Behavior analysts use scientific research and evidence-based treatment approaches to make a significant difference in lives of individuals and communities both locally and globally. It is an important and meaningful role! To provide motivation for your professional journey as a behavior analyst, identify and read 3 more experimental and behavior analytic journal articles that address the improvement of human health, education, or quality of through behavior analysis. The articles should interest and inspire you to think about replicating, modifying, or extending the study for your own applied project or thesis as a way of improving lives.
Step 2 – Describe your hopes to apply behavior analysis to current problems of health, education, or quality of life for members of your community. Cite the three articles you found and explain how they have motivated you. How could you expand on the studies to make a difference in the mental and physical health of others?
