B)Thought Probe Holy Scripture

Suppose you are a space explorer who lands on a planet where there are several different religions. Each religion is based on a holy book supposedly written by a god who is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-good. To determine whether one of the books is truly the word of god, what would you look for? What characteristics would a book written by such a god possess?  Do any of our holy books possess those characteristics?

C) You can answer all the questions or choose which one you like.

What is the nature of the religious impulse?
How do we respond to differing claims to religious truth? Must there be only one true religion?
Are there compelling proofs or evidence for the existence of God (or gods)?
If you believe in an all-powerful, all-good supernatural Being, how is it possible to account for the existence of evil in the world?
Is reason relevant to religious faith?
