Students will write a 1500 word essay of the history of chocolate.  Subjects in the essay will cover but not limited to the following:

Chocolates prior to 1400’s
Chocolate 1400 – 1600’s
Chocolate 1600 – 1800’s
Chocolate 1800 – 2000
Chocolate 2000 – today
A minimum of four references must be used and the references must be sited.  50 % deduction for not meeting the 1500 word limit. Plagiarism will result in a 0 for the assignment and possible further discipline.
