Professors Instructions:

This assignment is extensive as you have to do Library Research and read each source. You will need to read and annotate each text to understand the main ideas that are being conveyed. Once you have all the information, you will write first an objective Summaries for each source. Then, for each source, you will also explain how and why this source is relevant for your essay. Does this source support your argument? counterargument? evidence?

You will need to find a total 5 sources. Limit the Internet sources to 2 and 3 from the PCC library. Note that anything you write in the annotation will be used for your essay. These sources will be the basis for your essay, so once you start writing, you will have all the information available.

The summary should be about 200 words, and your analysis (reason why you chose this article) about 50 words.

You will follow MLA format.

Note that the format for the annotated bibliography is the same for your Works Cited page. In a way, you are always building up on your own essay. Some of the summaries you write, you will be able to use in your essay.
