Does it matter if design is beautiful? Can it be poetic? Can it shape consciousness?

OR

Which designs were most and least effective in effecting change?

In each case, answer with reference to at least two of the case studies seen so far in the course.

Instruction:
What we’re really asking for is an essay reflecting on the history, theory, designers and designs you’ve seen in the classes and readings. Give us an introduction, a body, and a conclusion, like a regular essay.  Comparing some examples would be a great strategy for engaging your reader.
