Cover as much detail about the character as possible, such as what you learn from that character; how the character informs our opinions of others; how the author uses that character to make certain points; why you chose that particular character; what you might identify with regarding the character, etc.
-you may choose a character that is not a human being. Emotions are characters in this story: love, fear, bravery, cowardice, etc. The War is a character. The landscape is a character. You really can be as creative as you want to be. But if you’re uncertain if something would qualify, you’re welcome to email me. The only character you may not write about is Tim O’Brien.
