The Oxford dictionary defines “philosophy” as a theory or attitude held by a person or organization that acts as a guiding principle for behavior. In essence, a customer service philosophy are the strategies you will employ to deliver exceptional service and exceed your customer’s expectations. Your customer service philosophy should empower employees to create positive customer experiences.
Instructions: This is a creative assignment. Using the Washington-Centerville Public Library’s Customer Service Philosophy (click on the hyperlink) as a guide, develop your own customer service philosophy. This can be for your current organization or a future business you may want to open in the future. I do not expect you to develop something exactly like the library’s philosophy. But, I do expect you to be creative and use your imagination.
