For this assignment, you will choose a contemporary Rock group or artist and address the prompts below.  It is important to note that our contemporary music did not come out of thin air. Many of the harmonic backgrounds of current songs have come to us from Blues and other earlier forms. Many tunes from our time only contain three or four “chords” or harmonic changes.  Most songs are written in common time, which means there are four beats to a measure.
