Grading Rubric: Students will be graded as follows:

Introduce the work with a summary (1-2 sentences) of the main argument:    20%
Explain the main argument components (the remainder of the paper):        80%

Points will be deducted if the summary:
    Lacks brevity
    Is disorganized
    Lacks relevant points to back up your discussion of the argument
    Is redundant or digresses from your points
    Includes irrelevant, or excludes relevant, points related to the argument
    Is as long as, or longer than, the essay (the essay is 440 words)
