You are now focusing on identifying form, texture, themes, recitational, syllabic, neumatic, and melismatic singing, dynamics, consonance, dissonance, as well as other observations you may have. Please compare the two secular songs by Josquin, Mille Regretz and Weelkes: As Vesta was from Latmos hill descending. Both of these works use text painting. Can you site where in the music text painting is used? Do you believe that such a technique enhances the works? Please explain.
