Discussion Question
Incorporating integrated training concepts into a fitness program is vital to maximize the progression of a client. However, when designing programs for clients with different needs and goals, it can be difficult to communicate the importance and benefits of certain integrated training concepts.

Answer the following questions as if you were discussing integrated training concepts directly with a client:

“What is the purpose of flexibility training, and how do flexibility training protocols change as a client progresses through the OPT model? Provide an example.
“Why is cardiorespiratory training important, and how is stage training applied to the different levels of the OPT model?”
“How does core training support the other integrated training concepts in my fitness program?” List and explain two (2) core training exercise examples for each level of the OPT model.
