1) Compare and contrast the selected nursing theory to its early evolutionary nursing history and thoroughly explore the main concepts of the theory Select a nursing theory on your own to identify this information.
2) Create a schematic model that depicts the value and attitudes of the core concepts of the theory. The schematic model is to represent your chosen theorists theory representation of the metaparadigm. In Chapter 2 of the textbook, there is a brief description of several theorist.  Each theorist defines the four parts of the paradigm – Nurse (or Nursing), Health, Environment and Patient (or Person).
3) Apply the nursing theory to the current values, attitudes, and roles of nursing, focusing on role evolution.
