3) Goal: I would like you to show me that you are able to listen to an in-depth discussion of fairly complex topics,  take away important information, then use that information in a discussion to inform decision making.

4) A long paper is likely to get a lower grade.  It is more difficult to express ideas in short and clear written communications – I will award more points to those that accomplish this.
